We were asked to review current operations and design a simplified approach to optimise operational and capital costs.
A lean six sigma project with cross-functional representatives was launched and current state maps generated. Future state maps and designs were generated to drive facility, technology, process design and protocols.
The operational expenditure was reduced by £2.5m.
The resilience of the operation was increased as was its ability to recover in crisis.
